VBH's Kelly Vitko retract's VBH's claim that Michelle Obama's Purse is VBH's $5950 Alligator Purse
Following the very public debate that followed after VBH luxury house claimed that the purse Michelle O carried during her Russia "walk in the woods" was one of their pricey $5,950 alligator purses, VBH now admits it made a mistake, and "sort of" agrees with the White House that the purse was the $875 patent stunner.
Or Does it? VBH rep, Kelly Vitko allegedly issued the following retraction -“If that’s what the White House is saying, then it’s a patent bag.” Cute!

Michelle Obama catches flack over $5950 VBH alligator purse
Lady O is known for her impeccable sense of style and her ability to mix n match high fashion with affordable retail fashion. Well in Michelle O fashion news, fashion luxury house VBH contends that the purse that Michelle O totes in the photo (during her Russia trip) is one of their $5,950 alligator purses. Not so, says the White House, which counters that the purse is actually a $875 patent stunner.
Does it really matter what Michelle O's purse costs? Is she only allowed to carry affordable target lines? These days, she is the face of the American woman. Or is she? If she is, then maybe she can, perharps carry a purse that some American women can afford - recession or not. We have to be realistic - someone in America is buying that purse, recession or not. Let's be clear - I won't be buying that alligator clutch anytime soon!
